The first time I went to cover a festival outside Mexico was 2012's SXSW. I shot this photos inspired in a series by a Mexican photographer named Marte Merlos. I've always been fascinated by empty spaces and things that are not supposed to be there, but this was the first time I discovered that was my favorite subject to shoot (besides music and portraits).
